Ok first, odd title...
Well, not much going on right now, except for a lot of work and home work. sheesh just too much stuff to do and not a lot of time to do it in. I did some maintenance on my webserver, that was fun, lol. But, on a serious note... one of my co-works got fired on monday, i will not go into detail of what happened, except that it was a little odd to just fire him for the mistake, and I seriously mean MISTAKE, he made. I would say it was an honest meistake, hell I didnt even know that it was wrong, now I do. But so you know, he was one of, well lest say he was, the best sales person on the floor, and nobody would disagree either. So HR thought it would be a good idea to fire the “BEST” sales person they had @ 207. Yep, lets see Business 101 what not to do:
1. Dont fire your employee for a mistake that wont happen again, just write them up or something.
2. Check number 1, if they are the best, then really reconsider your previous firing thought.
So the idea here is: Think before you act, then think it over some more. None of us are particularly happy with what happened, but we cannot do anything about it. Oh well, you have my support Kris, so there is a note out to you. Thats all I have for now, l8r.
